Noemi and Matteo’s wedding was a day of love, joy and beauty. Planning it filled me with pride and I am so happy to share all of this fairytale Veneto Villa Wedding with you!
I have a lot of memories of the months spent with Noemi and Matteo on their special day. One thing that stands out to me is how it felt like a collective effort. Both bride and groom were very involved (and that is not always the case) but also their mothers, friends and their loved ones in general played a big part in the process. It was not only a celebration of the big, amazing and unconditional love between these two, it became also a celebration of the love of a family.
And family love is present is other small touches: grandpa’s souvenir of a trip to Paris, grandma’s pin hidden in the peony bouquet, flowers that she loved. I think its’ so touching to include these little thoughtful details in your special day.
Noemi and Matteo had a clear idea of the style they were going for: elegant and refined and so very them. They are perfectionists and making sure everything was up to their standards was a challenge, but it was also so rewarding to see the satisfaction and happiness on their faces. That’s what I work so hard for!
A very romantic setting was provided by the Palladian Veneto Villa they had chosen. I added fluffy romantic decorations and some nods to their passions for cinema, old times and tea (heart eyes!). Teacups and big urns were filled wit soft floral arrangements by Il Profumo dei Fiori. Stationery details worked seamlessly in the decor, as always when Cut and Paste lab is involved.
My project, as always, had a plan A, in case of sun, and a plan B, in case of rain. And you know, it actually did rain, and what you’ll see in the pictures is not what was planned as a primary solution. But let me tell you, the way the ceremony area was set up, the colors of the walls playing with the decor, the villa’s architecture framing the scene, it all came together so beautifully that I think it was for the best. Luckily, it didn’t rain at the time to take portraits, too!
Lenny Pellico’s pictures will tell this fairytale to you much better than me. But first, the credits!
