Almost a year has passed since Giulia and Giacomo took a plane to come and have their wedding in Bologna, their hometown, from London, where they live. They came to spend a wonderful weekend with their most loved ones and celebrate their love in the lush Bologna’s countryside!
I helped them planning and refining their project with the help of Viviana of BiancoAntico. Our partnership began with this wedding and is still going strong!
Giulia and Giacomo wanted a fun understated party, a modern affair filled with lightness, so we took a minimalist approach with a fresh green and white palette, a few well dosed vintage and rustic touches her and there.
The mood was carried through with Valentina from Cut and Paste Lab‘s stationery, simple and elegant, boosted by the letterpress printing by Anonima Impressori. The ambience was naturally brought by the location, my beloved Il Castellazzo, and Il Profumo dei Fiori‘s flowers made it all even prettier. My favorite part might be the bar, with a super cool marquee light signage! I had fun designing the chalkboards, Viviana styled every detail to perfection.
I love love love this wedding and the images Lisa Poggi captured. A breath of fresh air, an ode to simplicity and brightness. Enjoy!
