Florence wedding planner at Villa Cora Hotel
Being the wedding planner for this amazing Florence Wedding at Villa Cora was amazing.
Jacinte and Hal hired Viviana of BiancoAntico and me to plan and style their wedding last June, and I am so proud of the result! I fulfilled more than one dream with this wedding. First, it has been published on one blog I have been admiring for ages: OnceWed. You can see the full feature here, with the pictures of the super nice and talented Sebastien Boudot
Then, it gave me and the team the chance to get creative with a super fresh color palette. I never dared to pair blues, oranges, yellows and blush before this day, but I am so glad I did!
Jacinte, our bride, had the most jaw dropping Valentino wedding dress I had ever seen. A muse, she was simply gorgeous!
Also, this wedding gave me the chance to work in one of the most beautiful venues I ever visited, Villa Cora, a piece of heaven in the heart of Florence, one of my favorite places on hearth. Planning weddings in Florence is something i could do every day of my life!
For Jacinte and Hal’s wedding we worked on a design that had to balance the rich and ornate venue with the eclectic and modern personalities of the bride and groom too. It was challenging and fun and I think we did an awesome job! Nature came to our help, as we found a lot of this colors in natural elements, like flowers, fruit and foliage, that we used to decorate the ceremony space and the table setting, with the help of Nina e i Fiori.
The colors and mood were then amplified with he use of the stationery. It was a mix of quirky graphics in the invitation suite fro RiflePaper through Paperless Post, paired with amazing handwritten calligraphy pieces by Wildflowers Calligraphy in Florence.
Thanks to the wonderful team that contributed to this wedding I will never forget!
