Hi! I’m so excited to talk to you about Candace and Joel’s wedding, back in September ’15. It was a collaboration between me and Viviana from Bianco Antico, one of the first of many to come, I hope. Viviana, I love you and love working together! *end of love declaration, back to the wedding!
Candace and Joel contacted me when they were already at a quite advance stage of their wedding planning, needing someone local that could understand their style and wishes to bring it all together and provide a couple of the still missing pieces. They were planning to infuse the day with a lot of DIY, to my delight! The invitations, the place cards and the seating chart, the flower crown, but hold on: Candace made her own dress! Candace you are amazing, let me tell you. I love when it’s possible to incorporate something made from the people involved, it makes everything more personal and unique, and different from anything else. And these guys did just that!
We had the fantastic backdrop of Villa Il Poggiale to work with, the amazing Cristiano Brizzi at documenting it all and Sofia’s super flower design skills to prettify it all with her beautiful flowers. Viviana took care of the coordination of the day and the styling of all the details and she pretty much rocked it!
Curious to see it? If you insist… here are the pictures from Facibeni Fotografia Prepare for a magical light between the olive trees, a pair of cuties in love, some lovely little guests, a quirky seating chart celebrating the groom’s facial hair’s style throughout the years a fantastic table set up under a magical roof of lights and a very romantic cake. Enjoy!
