Buddhist wedding in Italy – Laura + Jack

I have been absent from the blog for a very long time! Let me welcome you back showing you this amazing buddhist wedding in Italy, produced with so much work and love, in collaboration with Viviana of BiancoAntico. Laura and Jack came from London to get married with a buddhist and civil rite in  Villa Lina, a wonderful location in the Tuscia Viterbese, not far from Rome. The place is pure magic, with an enchanted forest that held the ceremony, historical houses where guests could stay, eclectic decor, breathtaking gardens, a beautiful greenhouse, two pools, one of which from the ’20s… I could go on…. when I went there to visit the venue I couldn’t believe all the beauty!

Let’s go back to the wedding, the bride and groom entertained their guests for three days: a welcome drinks and aperitivo on Friday night, the wedding day itself on Saturday, a pool party on Sunday to say goodbye to their friends in a relaxed and stylish atmosphere.

I curated the communication with the couple and together with Viviana planned and designed the day. Viviana was present on the weekend for implementing the plans and put her magic styling touches on everything.

This was a very challenging event for everyone involved, with a complex timeline, great spaces, a lot of vendors to coordinate, many guests to move and direct, some particular needs to take into consideration. This makes me even prouder when I look at the result of many months of work in the pictures delivered by Gianluca&Mary Adovasio. They speak for themselves, but you will be enchanted by the ceremony in the woods, by the marvelous details of the villa, the decor, so quirky colorful and glamour, with a touch of spirituality that was so important to the couple.

I am very thankful to the wonderful team that has worked really hard on bringing this dream to life: Sofia of Il Profumo dei fiori for the insane flower design, Gianluca & Mary Adovasio for these special images, Manola Spaziani for Laura’s hair and make up, Evergreen Film that will surely produce a terrific video that I’ll be sure to share, Enoteca La Torre for the catering. Stationery was created personally by the bride and Groom with a touch from CutandPastelab

Enjoy!
