I have gotten back from Barcelona a few days ago and have been swept by a mile ling to do list, but I absolutely need to share with you the beauty and highlights of this experience!
I’ll start thanking the organization of the show and the wonderful Palace Hotel for having me for five days. It’s wonderful place where you’ll be taken care of with care and professionalism and always with a smile. The ambience is incredible and the service is even better. And the breakfast spread the best I have ever seen!
Speaking of the show, let me start from the end! Pronovias’ fashion show closed the week of events and it is surely one of the brightest highlights. Held at the Museum Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, an amazing venue, the show centered about the concept of Wish. Oh how I wish I could have any of the 44 dresses that want down that mirrored catwalk! If you have seen my shaky Instagram videos you probably heard me gasp multiple times too.
Celebrities and influencers walked the red carpet at the event while supermodels like Romee Strijd wore the beautiful gowns the maison proposes for the next season. 2018′ brides, you should really take note!
The Atelier collection is extremely special: embroideries, gems applications, the gowns are fluid, and like the water of the wishing well, shine and move in great harmony, enhancing the femininity of the cuts and shapes. I found the designs both classic and innovative and shapes that go from the sleek shilouette to the most ample and romantic gown. The fabrics and embellishments were the most spectacular detail, like the marvelously beard fringed number that closed the show with a bang. So so good.
I really loved the whole show but here is a selection of my favorites. Thank you Pronovias for having me!
I’ll be back soon with part two of my Barcelona report and show you my favorite designs and bridal trends for 2018. See you soon!
