the people you choose to work with for your elopement will obviously outnumber your wedding party of two, so it’s vital to surround yourself with genuinely good people that will care about you.
And it will make your elopement experience even more meaningful and memorable.
Let me tell you about Kelly and Ryan. They are the most humble, sweet and kind people you’ll ever meet. They trusted me with every aspect and decision regarding their private wedding celebration and I always think of them with the hugest smile on my face. We worked really well together in the months before the wedding despite an ocean being between us, and it was so rewarding to take their wishes and make them reality!
On the morning of the wedding I met Kelly at a hair salon in the town of Certaldo, where she had her hair and make up done. We spent a couple of hours just chatting and I could see her transforming into a bride before my eyes! We later went up to Certaldo Alto at the apartment she and Ryan had rented, where they got ready in two separate rooms. Ryan then left for Palazzo Pretorio, where later Kelly arrived to marry him.
Ryan had prepared a little sweet surprise for her, hiring a string duo to play during the ceremony. It was such a sweet touch that made the ceremony even more emotional and tailored on the two of them. I remember being so happy to help Ryan with this! After the ceremony they made the most romantic thing ever, dancing alone in the courtyard to the string duo’ playing their favorite song. Have I said it already that this gains the title of the Most Romantic Elopement in Tuscany ever?
After taking some pictures with the amazing Paola Colleoni, it was time for them to enjoy an aperitivo and private dinner at the best restaurant in town, and for me to go home, with heart-shaped eyes and a +2 to the list of amazing people I have known in my life.
Kelly and Ryan, I really wish you all the best in life, you two deserve the world.
