People imagine wedding week as chaos. In our exper People imagine wedding week as chaos. In our experience it’s closer to precision. Not rigid, but rehearsed enough that when something shifts, and something always does, there is already a quiet plan for it.
Not every celebration needs to be loud to be heard Not every celebration needs to be loud to be heard.
Not every choice needs to be the most out there to be memorable.
Not everything needs to be grand to make an impact. Backstage of a sweet and deeply felt summer wedding. With @villacozzano @flaminiagiuntella @laranavarrinimakeup @cin_cin_studio @remogiugnidj
There is something no one really tells you when yo There is something no one really tells you when you start planning a wedding: the urge to make every decision immediately is completely normal. But feeding that anxiety is not my job.
My job is to guide you with clarity while the process unfolds the way it should, not the fastest way possible. Some decisions need time to mature. Some require perspective before they can truly feel right. And some steps simply cannot happen too early, because choices made in haste often need to be revisited later, resulting in wastes of time, money, and mental capacity. Others, instead, are worth anticipating. Securing the right venue early on, for example, doesn’t just guarantee availability: it shapes every other decision with far more ease and clarity, from the guest experience to the overall atmosphere of the celebration. A well-planned wedding is never built on urgency.
It is protected from rush, from pressure, and sometimes even from impulsive excitement. Every element has its own timing, and knowing when to move and when you can pause is part of what we do. Trusting someone with your wedding does not mean losing control.
It means choosing someone who can hold it for you while you enjoy the journey. Ph @the.saums
I used the word “atmosphere” with intention↓ There I used the word “atmosphere” with intention↓
There is a big difference between: • “a pile of well-thought-out details” • and “creating an atmosphere”. In a perfect world, if you have a vision, you can make it come to life.
In reality, having all the pieces fall perfectly into place is far more complex and, without the right experience, trusted connections, and a deep understanding of how every detail interacts with the next, even the most beautiful ideas can remain just that: ideas. This is where our work begins. Not by changing your vision, but by understanding it deeply enough to give it shape, balance, rhythm, and substance.
By translating emotions into spaces, aesthetics into experiences, and inspiration into something guests can truly see, smell, taste, and hear the moment they arrive. For us, creating an atmosphere has never been only about design, or candles, or flowers alone. It is about intuition, intention, and the quiet orchestration behind every element that allows everything to feel effortless, natural, and entirely yours. Since 2010. 5 more venues I have loved taking my couples to in 5 more venues I have loved taking my couples to in the past wedding seasons Italy offers an incredible variety of venues. Each one with its own personality, its own rhythm, its own way of making you feel.
There is no “perfect venue” per se, only the one that feels right for you, the one that makes you feel welcomed. Where you recognize yourselves.
I often say I want guests to feel like they are walking into your home (if you had a villa lost in a postcard-like landscape, of course).
Some places are intimate and elegantly understated, others are grand and theatrical. Some are surrounded by the greenest hills you can imagine; in others, the Mediterranean water will splash under you while you say your “I do.” Most of them speak of family and love, carry stories of past centuries, secret novels that took place in their gardens and behind their walls.
Some invite boisterous celebration, others call for something quieter, more personal. Some allow both, in the right spots, at the right time.
This is where experience truly matters. Knowing the spaces is just the beginning. Understanding how they resonate with different couples is what allows us to create the right match.
Because when the connection is right, everything flows naturally. The setting, the atmosphere, the way the day unfolds: it all feels aligned.

The formula for our moodboards. We start from yo The formula for our moodboards. We start from you: your taste, personality, wishes. You stay front and center, always, so your wedding always feels like a well tailored suit: the perfect fit. We assess the canvas we are working with, the fabric we’ll lay down as the foundation: the venue its colors, architecture, features and history. It’s something to work with and not against, being both the event’s main stage, and a source of inspiration. But the venue isn’t everything, otherwise every event held in the same space, would also look and feel the same. We then start painting the canvas with your specific touches. We define the textures, florals, textiles, stationery, decor pieces, lighting. Not only that: the most fitting music will tie it all together. Everything we design has a goal in mind: make the wedding as unique as you are. @acqua_and_ink
